The problem

Linktree hides a creator's work behind labeled buttons. A better canvas starts colder: an empty grid asks the user to be a designer.

Every onboarding decision attacks the gap between "signed up" and "proud of my page."

What I built

  • Onboarding without signup. An agent imports your Instagram and builds the page first, so the wow comes before the commitment.
  • Résumé to portfolio. Upload a PDF and AI maps it into widgets, a layout, and a theme.
  • A conversational editor. Describe a change and the page updates live.
  • Analytics, a template marketplace, and newsletter capture close the loop with fans.

Decisions that mattered

  • AI fills slots in designs people made. Humans own layout, AI owns mapping. Imports got 10 to 20 times cheaper.
  • The marketplace takes 0%. Supply first, revenue later.
  • The social feed sits behind a flag. One line turns it back on if the data argues for it.
  • Commissioned an audit that scored the product 39/100, then shipped the fixes. The blog grew from 7 to 27 articles and every page now renders for AI crawlers.
